all-star
The Youth All-Star Award is given to a Macon UMC graduating High School Senior who has demonstrated outstanding involvement and service in the Macon United Methodist Church ministry
Community Scholarship
Through gifts and memorials from generous people, Macon United Methodist Church is pleased to bless a student in our community through the Community Scholarship.
- This is a one-time award of at least $500.
- Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and 85% attendance rate through high school.
- Application is open to students in Macon and area schools pursuing education beyond high school including trade school, specialized certification, associates, bachelor’s or other degrees.
- Apply online at maconumc.org, through the church office at 208 Pearl Street, Macon, MO 63552 or with school counselor.
- Application deadline March 1. Scholarship will be awarded by June 1.
Ministry Scholarship
Through gifts and memorials from generous people, Macon United Methodist Church is pleased to award scholarships to students who are actively involved in our ministry.
- Applicants must be regular participants in worship and other church activities.
- Scholarships are renewable for the duration of the educational program for up to $1,500 a semester and a total of $12,000. (Requires validation of enrollment for upcoming semester/equivalent and passing grades from most recent semester/equivalent.)
- Application is open to students pursuing education beyond high school including trade school, specialized certification, associates, bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate or other degrees.

- Application deadline March 1. Scholarship will be awarded by June 1.
Youth All-Star Award
The Youth All-Star Award is given to a Macon United Methodist Church graduating High School Senior who has demonstrated outstanding involvement and service in the Macon United Methodist Church ministry.
- Students will be accountable to the Director of Family Ministries in tracking their involvement and service from summer 2024 to graduation.
- Award recipient will be notified by June 1 and will receive a one-time award of $2,500.
