Core Values

We invite people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and create a welcoming and loving place for all. We recognize the courage it takes to enter a church for the first time. Often people worry about what to wear, and what to say, and may need clarification about faith in general. For this reason, we are creating a culture of inclusiveness so that everyone can find a place here at Macon UMC!

We identify and empower each other to use our gifts and answer our call to mission and ministry. We believe all people are called by God to serve others in response to God's extravagant love. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers and gives us everything we need to accomplish challenging acts of mission. We do all we can to receive the power from God to do all we cannot. Come serve with us!

Worship, small group, and other learning opportunities encourage you to ask real questions and find answers through the power of the Holy Spirit.
